The drive to Materuni Village covers approximately 60 kilometers, taking about 1.5 to 2 hours along scenic roads flanked by banana plantations, maize fields, and coffee farms. Upon arrival at Materuni Village, guests will start a guided tour of the coffee plantations, learning about the Chagga farming techniques, traditional coffee ceremonies, and the harvesting and roasting processes that produce some of the finest Arabica coffee in Tanzania. Travelers can participate in hands-on activities such as picking coffee beans, grinding, and brewing coffee using traditional methods.
